A member is an individual(s) registering their details on the FarmsDirect.org website
A client is an individual who searches the FarmsDirect.org website for local farms or producers.
Responsibility
Our responsibility is to provide a website directory where farms and local producers
can offer their products/services to the public. We will encourage and, where requested, advise members in creating an entry for their products or services. We will promote FarmsDirect.org and its members' products
and services
FarmsDirect.org cannot vouch for, or be held responsible for, the products and/or services offered by our members registered on the FarmsDirect.org website.
We are not responsible for and shall
not be liable for any consequential, indirect or special loss or damage or any economic loss including loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings, caused by member or client.
FarmsDirect.org expect that all parties should conduct themselves professionally, honestly and in good faith.
We cannot guarantee members claims and we expressly disclaim, to the extent permitted by law, any
representations, warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, by statute, collaterally or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties, conditions or other terms of satisfactory quality,
fitness for a particular purpose or reasonable care and skill made personally by clients or members.
In no event shall FarmsDirect.org be liable to clients, members or any other third party for any indirect,
consequential, special, incidental, punitive or noncontractual damages or lost profits arising out of or related to or any product or services. In no event will FarmsDirect.org be liable for failure or delay in
performing its obligations hereunder if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of any governmental body, war, insurrection, sabotage,
embargo, fire, flood, strike or other labour disturbance, interruption of or delay in transportation, unavailability of or delay in telecommunications, third party services, failure of third party software or
inability to obtain materials, supplies, or power used in or equipment needed for provision of these services.
Acceptable Use Policy
FarmsDirect.org retains the right to manage its website responsibly and exclude products, skills and services, as well as other information, which we believe are not appropriate, decent or, in our opinion, good taste.

shall include but not be limited to copyrights, trade marks design rights, trade secrets, patents, moral rights and performance rights); or contains viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to
interrupt, damage, destroy functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
You shall not post, transmit, re-transmit or publish: unsolicited promotional or advertising
material; or chain letters or pyramid selling schemes or any material which FarmsDirect.org deems to be unfit for general public viewing or that may cause offence to others.
In the event of any disagreement as
to whether materials posted, transmitted, re-transmitted or stored by a member are in contravention of this section, the decision of FarmsDirect.org shall be final.
If you use FarmsDirect.org for any illegal
purpose or for any purpose other than that expressly permitted by these terms and conditions or in breach of these terms and conditions you will be liable to indemnify us in full for any loss, liability or cost
which we incur that arises from, or in connection with, any such use or alleged use. FarmsDirect.org may at its discretion delete any material that disguises the origin of any User Content transmitted through the
Service

Our aim is to ensure that our website as helpful as possible and
in seeking to deliver this, we will link other sites from time to time that we feel has useful information for our members or clients.
FarmsDirect.org website contains hyperlinks to web sites operated by other
parties and members. Such hyperlinks are provided for reference only for clients and we make no representations or warranties about those sites or their content nor that the links work.
Quality of member information
Members are allocated adequate space for information with
regards products or services offered to enable prospective clients make an informed choice on what is being offered, we also include e-mail address details and links to member's websites where available.
We feel
that it is important, and in our member's interests, to ensure that member's product details are provided in a standard format to ensure ease of viewing and understanding by prospective clients, therefore this
standard format will be used for all members' details .
