The Aims of FarmsDirect.org

§ To further the cause of local produce, farmers and local producers

§ To encourage local food producers and to assist them in their ability to sell their
   produce locally

§ To raise awareness of the traceable, natural, and fresh produce grown or raised by
   farmers, local producers and small holders

§ To help generate income to local producers, farms and small holders via raising
  awareness of their existence with the general public

§ To provide an effective, easy-to-use website in order that we facilitate a link
   between consumers and these producers

 

In encouraging and delivering the above, we will help:

Help sustain local producers, farmers and small holders
Reduce food miles and carbon footprint
Promote healthier livestyles
Help keep money within the local community which helps the prosperity of the community itself
